Alexis graduated with her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University in 2017.  Alexis has specialized training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy completing Basic as well as Advanced and Enhanced.  Alexis offers a trauma informed care approach with the goal to reduce symptoms of overwhelming emotions and creating peace with those parts of ourselves that need it.

"We cannot control the parents who raised us or the different traumas that occur while in childhood.  The growth really starts to happen when we make peace with those areas and begin to heal.  We learn that our power comes from healing those parts of ourselves and learning to move on from them so they do not continue to have control over us." 

​Alexis works with a variety of individuals relating to Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Adjustment Disorders, Relational Trauma, Sexual Abuse, Childhood Trauma, Victims of Domestic Violence, and Personality Disorders.

Alexis enjoys spending time with her family on her days off, traveling, reading, and spending time at home.
