Kamilah graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2014. In 2018, Kamilah graduated from Wichita State University with a Master’s of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master’s of Education in School Counseling. In addition to private practice, Kamilah has served as a Community Mental Health Center Crisis Diversion Therapist and School Based Therapist. Kamilah furthered her education by training in Sand Tray Therapy and Play Therapy techniques. Kamilah is currently working on her Play Therapy certification. Kamilah is also trained in crisis interventions and screenings, as well as Acute Traumatic Incident Processing (A-TIP). |
Kamilah has experience with the following issues and unique populations: victims of trauma (including domestic violence, sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect), anxiety, depression, grief, adjustment and attachment issues, autism, child and adolescent behavioral issues, couple and family relational issues, and career and academic counseling.
